Exam Arrival Guidelines

  • Students should check in for scheduled exams at the testing location specified in the reminder email sent the day before. Students should bring a valid ID for identity verification.
  • For online exams, students should ensure they have the necessary devices, such as laptops and headphones.
  • Students should leave personal belongings, including backpacks, phones, smartwatches, hats and sunglasses, either with the proctor or outside the room. Valuables should remain at home.
  • There is a 15-minute grace period for check-ins. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late, they will not be able to take the exam. Arriving within the grace period means the student will have less time to complete the exam, as the end time remains the same.

Note on Academic Dishonesty

The Disability Center takes the role of proctoring exams seriously, striving to ensure academic integrity and to protect students from any question of impropriety. Any concerns regarding academic dishonesty will be addressed with the student and reported to the course instructor for further action. If found guilty of academic dishonesty while using Disability Center facilities or rooms reserved for exams, case-specific sanctions will be implemented, including the possibility of losing the privilege of having exams administered by the Disability Center.
